The appointment follows that of Daniel Lee as head of fundraising and investor relations for North America in April.

17Capital has appointed a director from CVC Credit Partners to its investor relations team.

Munte: Joins as investor relations director

Munte joined CVC in January last year after eight years with BlueBay Asset Management, according to his LinkedIn profile.

His experience and contacts will “prove a valuable asset as we continue to grow our business and see an ever-increasing appetite for financing across the private equity industry”, said 17Capital managing partner Pierre-Antoine de Selancy in the statement.

In April, 17Capital hired Daniel Lee as head of fundraising and investor relations for North America. He joined from private equity firm Aethon Energy. The following July it hired another CVC professional, Anthony McKay, as a finance director in its London office, Secondaries Investor reported.

Munte’s appointment brings the firm’s number of professionals to 52 across Europe and North America.
