Willowridge Partners has poached a Pomona Capital veteran to add to its secondaries investment operations.
Lawrence Fang joined the New York-based secondaries firm in January as a principal and is a member of the investment committee, according to a spokeswoman for the firm.
Before joining Willowridge, Fang spent 10 years at Pomona in New York where he focused on originating and executing secondaries and primary investments in private equity funds, according to Willowridge’s website.
Fang also has experience with AIG Global Investment Group where he worked in the fund of funds and co-investment group.
Willowridge employs eight investment professionals, according to its website.
The firm is currently in market with its Amberbrook Fund VII with a target of $450 million, Secondaries Investor reported in November.
Founded in 1995, Willowridge manages about $900 million of committed capital, according to its website.
