Weymouth Retirement Board seeks secondaries fund opportunities

Weymouth Retirement Board has issued a request for proposal for private equity fund of funds mangers, according to the pension’s April 2020 Private Equity RFP.

The pension plans to make $10-20 million in commitments to more than one manager focused on small- and middle-market buyout opportunities. The pension will also consider co-investment and secondaries funds. The deadline for submitting proposals is 18 May 2020.

The $215 million US public pension has a 12 percent target allocation to alternative investments that stands at 8.9 percent.
