UBS secondaries director Jarrett Vitulli departs

Eight-year UBS secondary advisory veteran departs to focus on real estate secondaries.

UBS executive director Jarrett Vitulli has left the secondaries advisory arm of the Swiss bank to move to Landmark Partners‘ secondaries real estate business, according to two sources.

Vitulli’s LinkedIn profile lists him as having over eight years’ experience at UBS, with prior stints at Sovereign Investment Company and as an associate at Citigroup.

UBS appointed Rodney Reid as head of European secondaries at the start of this year, relocating from the US where he was executive director in the secondaries team in New York.

Last year Nigel Dawn and Nicolas Lanel left UBS for investment bank Evercore to run its recently established secondaries business, advising on the $1.3 billion sale of GE Capital to French firm Ardian.

UBS recently advised on the €800 million National Pension Fund of Ireland sale to Lexington Partners, and advised UniCredit on its $1.2bn secondaries transaction involving the spin-out of SwanCap Partners.

UBS declined to comment and Landmark could not be reached at press time.
