Triago hires EMEA exec

Triago has hired Virginie Bourel as head of strategic advisory in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to a statement.

Bourel will focus on helping general partners and limited partners solve private equity issues, according to a spokesperson from the firm. On occasion the solutions will include counsel or advice on mitigating the secondaries market.

“We’re in an age of creative ferment in private equity, so it’s a hugely exciting time to be providing strategic advice,” Bourel said in the statement.

Previously Bourel spent eight years as an investment director at Quartilium, a private equity fund of funds managed by Groupama Private Equity. She has also worked as an audit manager at accounting and consulting firm Mazars.

Triago works as a private equity placement agent and provides secondary transaction advisory services.The firm was recently listed as receiving sales compensation for PineBridge Investments’ third secondaries fund in documents filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. The firm has offices in Dubai, New York and Paris.
