Performance watch: Pantheon

As the firm seeks $2bn for its latest flagship fund, we look at the performance of Pantheon's secondaries vehicles so far.

Pantheon raised $6.5 billion for secondaries in the five years to 30 June, according to our SI30 ranking of biggest fundraisers, placing it 11th.

The London-headquartered investment firm is in market seeking $2 billion for its sixth flagship secondaries fund, Secondaries Investor reported in June. Its funds focus mainly on small- and medium-sized buyout and growth equity assets and can acquire credit and real assets stakes as well.

Pantheon has spent some of its raised capital backing the $450 million restructuring of Avenue Capital Group’s 2011-vintage credit fund and the $250 million restructuring of a renewable energy fund managed by Luxembourg-headquartered Marguerite.
