Pantheon principal departs for family office – exclusive

Veena Isaac, an eight-year veteran of the firm, has joined Jasper Ridge Partners' Menlo Park office to focus on secondaries.

Isaac left the firm’s New York office in May, a spokeswoman confirmed. She joined the global investment firm in 2008 and focused on originating, analysing and executing secondaries deals, according to her LinkedIn. Isaac is based in Jasper Ridge’s Menlo Park office and is focusing on secondaries. Earlier in her career Isaac worked on funds of funds, secondaries and co-investments at Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

Isaac is at least the third secondaries professional to leave Pantheon in the last 12 months after senior associate Jeremy Weisberg left for Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC last October and partner Nik Morandi joined Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in August.

Jasper Ridge provides discretionary investment management services and has over $13.2 billion in assets. The office invests in public equity, fixed income, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate and natural resources, according to its website.
