Lombard Odier hires ex-HarbourVest professional

The asset management unit of the global banking firm has hired Alexander Frick to focus on secondaries investments out of its Geneva office.

Alexander Frick has joined Lombard Odier Investment Managers, the institutional asset management arm of Lombard Odier Group, as senior investment manager, focusing on private equity secondaries investments, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Frick joined the banking group’s asset management unit in August and is based in its Geneva headquarters.

Frick has previously worked at HarbourVest Partners in London, where he completed eight transactions and deployed $277 million of equity through secondaries and direct investments, according to his profile. He has also worked at Novator Partners and Morgan Stanley and joined Lombard Odier from family office TqHolding, where he oversaw private equity investments.

A spokesman for Lombard Odier didn’t immediately return requests for comment.

Founded in 1796, Lombard Odier has 26 offices across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia and provides wealth and asset management services for private and institutional clients, according to its website. The firm’s asset management business managed $49 billion for its clients as of December 2014.
