Emily-Jane Finigan, a vice-president with a decade’s experience as a marketing, communications and business development professional, will leave the private equity and real estate secondaries firm on 28 April, according to an emailed statement obtained by Secondaries Investor.

“I have decided to pursue a new adventure and re-focus my professional development within a growing investment sector that I find both intellectually stimulating and of seminal importance: impact investing,” Finigan wrote in her email. “[N]ow is the time for me to return to my original IR roots focused upon positive social and environmental impact.”

New York-based Finigan joined Landmark in 2015 from Carlyle where she was head of marketing and communications for Carlyle Solutions, according to Landmark’s website. She previously led IR and marketing at AlpInvest and spent five years at Coller managing and executing its North American strategic marketing programme.

Finigan confirmed her departure to Secondaries Investor and declined to comment on whether she will be replaced at Landmark. It is unclear where she is headed.

Her departure leaves the firm with eight investor relations professionals, according to its website.

The firm is raising both private equity and real estate secondaries vehicles and is seeking a combined total of $6 billion across the two funds, according to PEI data.
