Gabriel Boghossian will lead a GP-led restructurings and direct secondaries practice at the law firm.

King & Wood Mallesons has appointed a new partner, Gabriel Boghossian, to its London office to lead a GP-led restructurings and direct secondaries practice at the law firm.

Boghossian, who joins from Macfarlanes, has worked on some of the largest secondaries transactions in the market.

Stephen Kon, senior partner at the Europe in the Middle East (EUME) practice of King & Wood Mallesons, said: “[Boghossian’s] appointment is consistent with our commitment to the focused development of our EUME practice in areas of key strategic importance to the firm.”

Boghossian’s appointment follows the firm’s promotion of six lawyers promoted to partner level in Europe, the US and the Middle East, 20 in China, and the recruitment of two new partners, Peter Bullock and Anthony Wan, in Hong Kong.

Hong Kong-headquartered King & Wood Mallesons has 30 offices worldwide and employs around 2,700 lawyers.
