Kirkland’s Moghli joins Reed Smith

The London-based lawyer's practice includes the formation of secondaries funds, portfolio acquisitions and synthetic secondaries.

Reed Smith has hired a decade-long veteran and founding member of Kirkland and Ellis‘s funds practice team whose experience includes working on secondaries.

Leith Moghli joins the law firm’s London office as a partner in its global private equity and investment funds group, according to a statement.

He will advise global and European fund sponsors and financial institutions on fund formation across a range of strategies, including secondaries funds, and has experience working on deals including portfolio acquisitions and synthetic secondaries.

Moghli has extensive experience in fund formation, according to the statement. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers and joined Kirkland in 2007, according to his LinkedIn profile.
