It’s been a big year so far for GP-led deals. According to research by advisor Greenhill Cogent, GP-led volume hit $7 billion in the first half of 2018 versus $14 billion for full-year 2017. Given the tendency for second halves to be busier than firsts, 2018 could well be a record breaker.
