Hollyport expands with two hires – exclusive

James Jupp and Jennifer Galloway are the latest hires at the London firm that specialises in tail-end acquisitions and direct investments.

Hollyport Capital, a tail-end fund of funds manager, has added two professionals to its team, according to a spokeswoman for the firm.

James Jupp joined the London firm in October as a private equity associate. Jupp comes from accounting firm Crowe Clark Whitehill where he focused on mergers and acquisitions financial due diligence, according to his LinkedIn profile. He graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in accounting and finance.

Hollyport has also hired Jennifer Galloway as a fund accountant. Before joining in October, Galloway, an Oxford University graduate, worked as a finance analyst at Hyperion Insurance where she focused on budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, the spokeswoman said.

The firm has made at least five hires this year, including Lama Al-Masri, who joined as an associate in April, and Richard Grindrod and Nicholas Richards, who joined at the beginning of the year to focus on deal origination and evaluation.

Hollyport is currently in market with its fifth dedicated secondaries fund, Hollyport Secondary Opportunities V, targeting £150 million ($232 million; €206 million), according to PEI’s Research and Analytics division. The firm held a first close on £125 million in July after two months of fundraising, Secondaries Investor reported.
