Greenhill Cogent hires secondaries VP in London – exclusive

The advisory firm has hired a former fund of funds executive to focus on client advisory in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.

Greenhill Cogent has hired a former fund of funds executive for its secondaries advisory team in London, Secondaries Investor has learned.

The advisory business of the investment bank hired Stefano Manna as a vice-president, according to the firm. Manna will focus on advising clients in the UK, Europe and the Middle East, and joined in early March.

“It’s an amazing team with a solid track record and I’m proud to be joining,” Manna told Secondaries Investor.

Manna joins from Advanced Capital, a Milan-based fund of funds, where he was responsible for sourcing and managing relationships with private equity fund managers, analysing fund commitments and monitoring legal procedures, according to his LinkedIn profile.

He has experience with Italian investment firm Palladio Finanziaria, Rabobank and KPMG.

Greenhill Cogent currently has nine professionals in its London secondaries advisory team and is also preparing to hire an analyst, according to a spokesman from the firm.

In January, Andrei Brougham, a vice-president who had worked at the firm since 2009, left the firm.
