Glendower makes two senior-level promotions

Glendower Capital, the fourth-largest UK-headquartered secondaries firm according to the SI 50, has made a series of promotions including two senior-level ones as it continues to raise capital for its latest fund.

The firm elevated Elena Smirnova and Jonathan Au to managing directors, in London and New York, respectively, according to a statement. Both are members of the firm’s investment team.

Glendower also promoted six other professionals across its investment, business operations and investor relations teams.

Glendower is in market with its Glendower Capital Secondary Opportunities Fund V, which has already reached its $3.5 billion target, according to Secondaries Investor data.

CVC Capital Partners agreed to acquire Glendower in 2021, with Glendower’s senior management continuing to lead the team.
