Eaton loses London-based secondaries director

The placement agent and secondaries advisory firm this week confirmed the hire of Adrian Siew in New York as co-head of the firm's GP Solutions business.

Eaton Partners, which is building up its secondaries team, has lost a director who focused on the strategy, Secondaries Investor has learned.

Stefano Manna, a London-based executive, has left the placement agent and secondaries advisory firm, according to a source familiar with the matter.

Manna joined Eaton in 2020 and focused on GP Advisory, secondaries & directs, private funds, according to his now deleted profile on Eaton’s website. Prior to Eaton he was a principal at Cebile Capital, now part of Raymond James. He has prior experience at Greenhill and Advanced Capital in Italy, according to his LinkedIn profile.

This week the firm confirmed it had hired Adrien Siew, a former Credit Suisse private fund group executive as a managing director and co-head of GP Solutions, based in New York. Secondaries Investor and affiliate title Buyouts reported last month that Siew was set to join Eaton.

Siew works alongside Dirk Jonske who joined Eaton last month as a managing director and is the other co-head of the unit GP Solutions unit.

Alongside the GP Solutions team, Eaton has also introduced LP solutions, direct equity and GP stakes specialities “to provide financial sponsors and their investors with differentiated strategic advice and liquidity solutions”, according to a statement about Jonske’s hire in August.

Managing directors Dexter Blake and Peter Martenson lead the team’s LP solutions and direct equity verticals, respectively. Director Charles Korchinski, who joined the firm from Bonaccord Capital Partners last year, leads Eaton’s GP stakes offering.

A spokesperson for Eaton did not return a request for comment about Manna’s departure.
