Coller hires investment professional in London

The secondaries firm has brought in at least three investment professionals to its London office this year.

Coller Capital has hired Dolapo Awoyinka as a senior associate in its London office as the firm continues fundraising for its seventh secondaries fund.

Awoyinka joined the firm in June as an investment professional, according to his LinkedIn profile. It wasn’t clear what Awoyinka is focusing on at Coller, and a spokeswoman for the firm was not immediately available to comment.

Awoyinka joined Coller from Perella Weinberg Partners where he worked for three years on the telecoms mergers and acquisitions advisory team. Before then, he worked as an analyst for Citigroup, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is also listed as the co-founder of Motivimi, a motivational services website.

Coller, which has hired at least three staff in its London office this year, held a first close on $3.1 billion for its latest secondaries fund in July, Secondaries Investor reported. The fund is targeting $5.5 billion with a $6.5 billion hard-cap and is expected to close later this year.
