The global placement agent and advisory firm hired Tim Dean in May as an associate, according to a spokesman. Dean spent more than six years as a manager in the corporate finance advisory team at Deloitte specialising in infrastructure, where he provided financial advisory services in the infrastructure and energy sectors to private and government programmes, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Dean, a qualified chartered accountant who holds an economics and management degree from the University of Oxford, will focus on both private equity and infrastructure, the spokesman said.

Campbell Lutyens has made at least one other hire this year, appointing Sarah Sandstrom as a partner in its New York office in February to focus on origination, project management and execution in North America.

The firm, which was among the top three advisors in secondaries deal volume in 2015, employs more than 90 staff globally in its London, New York and Hong Kong offices.
