Campbell Lutyens promotes two secondaries professionals to MD

The promotions are part of 10 company-wide, including two fundraising professionals to the partnership.

Campbell Lutyens has made a raft of promotions, including two of its secondaries-focused staff.

Alex Wimborne and Lukas Zeman were promoted to managing director, according to a statement. Wimborne focuses on LP advisory, while Zeman works across private equity, private credit and infrastructure secondaries.

Both joined the placement agent and advisory firm in 2014.

Campbell Lutyens made 10 promotions in total, including two fundraising professionals to partner.

LP-led advisory work made up just over half of the value of the secondaries mandates that Campbell Lutyens closed on last year, according to the Secondaries Investor Advisory Survey 2023. Of the firm’s $12.2 billion in total value, such transactions represented $6.8 billion.

The firm advised on five single-asset continuation fund transactions worth $4.1 billion, which bolstered overall GP-led value that came in at $5.4 billion. When it comes to asset classes, secondaries transactions it advised on spanned private equity, infrastructure and private debt.
