Cambridge Associates searches for a secondaries, FoFs professional

Based in Menlo Park, California, the senior investment director will specialise in secondaries and fund of funds research.

Cambridge Associates is seeking to hire a senior investment director specialised in secondaries and fund of funds research, according to a LinkedIn post.

Responsibilities will primarily focus on gathering, analysing and disseminating information on all aspects of fund of funds and secondary fund investments, strategies and managers, resulting into ongoing qualitative and quantitative research.

Cambridge Associates’ written research, which includes summaries of meetings and in-depth due diligence reports, is used by its clients and colleagues and typically supports investment decisions.

Cambridge Associates is headquartered in Boston, but the position will be based in Menlo Park, California. The firm also has offices in Beijing, Singapore, Sydney, London, Dallas and Arlington, Virginia.

Priya Karkar previously held a similar job at the company. She left in April.

There were 34 applicants for the position as of Thursday morning, a month after the job was posted on LinkedIn.

Cambridge Associates, which was founded in the early 1970s, provides alternative assets research, consulting  and performance monitoring to more than 900 institutions.
