ACG grows FoF team

Paris-based ACG Capital has hired three investment professionals, including principal Jérôme Marie who previously worked at secondaries specialist Arcis.

Parisian private equity firm ACG Capital has added three investment professionals to its fund of funds team, it said in a statement.

Jérôme Marie joined the firm as a principal in May. He previously worked as a vice president at European private equity secondaries firm Arcis Group.

François Bouillon joined ACG as a vice president from BNP Paribas Capital Partners. Bouillon has also worked at Allstate Investment Management.

ACG also hired Matthieu Lallaï as an analyst in June. Lallaï spent the last three years at infrastructure fund Groupe Edifice Capital.

ACG is currently investing capital from separate accounts with its investors. The firm’s fund of funds programme makes primary fund investments and acquires limited partner fund positions on the secondaries market.  ACG has completed 24 transactions representing €180 million in committed capital, since its secondaries programme was established in 2010, according to Marie.

“The striking point is 80 percent of the completed transactions were sourced in leveraging the primary partnership investment programme,” said Marie.

ACG also manages direct funds focused on mezzanine, according to its website. The firm has €2.1 billion of assets under management and is based in Paris with a team of 35 people. Eight professionals (including the new hires) focus on fund of funds.
