Montana looks to hire an analyst

The search comes as Montana recently closed its third fund with €400m after about 10 weeks of fundraising.

Montana Capital Partners is seeking to hire an analyst who will focus on accounting, monitoring, execution and reporting, according to a job posting from the firm.

The job will entail performance measurement, valuation and risk management of the overall Montana portfolio, including analysis of portfolio companies. The new hire will also work on customer relationship management, on the execution of transactions and on supporting the audit process alongside external service providers.

Montana has €600 million in assets under management and has recently closed its third fund, mcp Opportunity Secondary Program III, at its hard-cap of €400 million. Annual Secondary Program I is a 2013-vintage €80 million vehicle and Annual Secondary Program II closed on its €100 million hard cap in November 2014 after four months of fundraising.

Founded in 2011 by two former Capital Dynamics executives Marco Wulff and Christian Diller, Montana focuses on customised secondaries investment programs and asset management services.

The Baar, Switzerland-based firm currently has two vice-presidents, four directors and one analyst, according to its website. Wulff and Diller are partners at the firm.
