Idinvest Partners has appointed Caroline Steil as a senior legal advisor from law firm Jones Day.
Steil will focus on the legal aspects concerning the management of Paris-based Idinvest’s portfolio companies as well as Idinvest’s relationships with LPs around fund structuring and with the French financial markets authorities. She will also advise on the firm’s secondaries activity.
In February the mid-market investor opened a new office in Frankfurt and added two new members to its private debt team as part of the move. In the same month the firm opened its first China office in Shanghai.
In March Idinvest was nearing the final close on its latest secondaries fund, Idinvest Secondary Fund III, and was expecting to raise more than €400 million for vehicle, as Secondaries Investor reported.
Idinvest has €8 billion under management across private equity and private debt funds.
