HarbourVest IR veteran departs

The fund of funds manager has lost an investor relations executive with almost two decades of experience from its London office.

HarbourVest Partners has lost an investor relations executive who had been at the firm for nearly two decades from its client relations team in London.

Hannah Tobin left the fund of funds manager at the end of February, a spokeswoman confirmed. Tobin, who focused on European and UK investor relations, left for personal reasons and will continue working with the firm as a consultant until the end of the year.

Tobin joined HarbourVest in 1997, according to her LinkedIn profile, and has worked in the firm’s Boston and London offices. The firm does plan to fill Tobin’s position, Secondaries Investor understands.

Private Equity News first wrote about Tobin’s departure.

There are four remaining professionals in HarbourVest’s London client relations team: Oren Laufer and Christina Kimeze who joined the firm last year, and Olav König who joined in 2013, according to HarbourVest’s website.

Janish Patel, a former CVC Capital Partners managing director, joined the team in February to focus on Middle East and UK relationships.
