Evercore promotes two to MD

The promotion of Francesca Paveri and Jasmine Hunet means that all three MDs in the London-based secondaries team are now women.

Secondaries advisor Evercore has made a second batch of senior promotions over the last month.

London-based Francesca Paveri and Jasmine Hunet have been promoted from director to managing director. Their promotions were effective as of 1 March, head of European private capital advisory and managing director Lea Lazaric Calvert confirmed.

“I am very proud of the team that we have built in Europe and that we are in a unique spot to advise clients on complex secondary transactions. We feel our clients are a true testament to that,” she said.

Evercore’s private capital advisory team has nine members, including three managing directors, all of whom are women.

Paveri and Hunet were appointed to the role of director in March 2018, Secondaries Investor reported. They both joined Evercore in 2013, having been associate directors with the secondaries advisory team at UBS, according to their respective LinkedIn profiles.

Paveri ranked tenth on Secondaries Investor‘s Young Guns of Secondaries ranking for 2018.

In February, Secondaries Investor reported that Evercore had promoted New York-based managing directors Jarrett Vitulli and Rodney Reid to partner, bringing the total number of partners in its private capital advisory group to three. The group is led by Nigel Dawn.

Evercore advised on at least three LP portfolio sales worth north of $500 million last year, including Florida State Board of Administration‘s sale of around $1 billion worth of stakes in the second half, Alaska Permanent Fund‘s $750 million sale in April, and Maryland State Retirement and Pension System‘s roughly $1 billion sale in November. Ardian was the buyer in those three sales.
