Axon hires principal

Vincent de Boursetty will be based in Zug and work across the fund placement and secondaries advisory lines.

Axon Partners, a Switzerland-headquartered placement agent and advisory firm, has appointed a new principal.

Vincent de Boursetty will work across both of the firm’s business lines – fund placement and secondaries advisory – and his primary focus will be on the French primary private equity market, a spokeswoman for Axon told Secondaries Investor.

He will be based at the head office in Zug.

“Vince’s corporate finance and M&A experience gives complementary skills to our team and will significantly enhance our placement capabilities and secondary transactions services,” said Dominik Meyer, founder and managing partner of Axon, in a statement.

Prior to joining Axon de Boursetty spent one year as an independent corporate finance advisor helping start-up companies raise venture capital.

Before that he spent five years as a principal at London-based corporate finance advisor Ondra Partners where led M&A and capital markets advisory mandates for large-cap and private equity clients.

He began his investment banking career in 2009, spending four years as an associate with the investment banking arm of Société Générale.

Since its formation in 2003 Axon Partners has been involved in more than 30 private fundraises and advised on secondaries transactions worth more than €3.5 billion, according to the statement. The firm has offices in Zug and London.
